Building Specialists, Inc. is a Roanoke, VA commercial construction company.

Renovation of a 17,000 square foot warehouse into manufacturing and office space for a maker of prosthetic and orthotic devices—and the first tenant of Roanoke’s much anticipated biomedical business park.

Christ Episcopal Church in Roanoke called on BSI, who had years earlier done work for them, to address water damage in their sanctuary and other areas around their historic church building.

Vistar Eye Center called on BSI to add work space and better flow for their customers. Updates had not been made in the building in years. Vistar required BSI to work while the facility operated as usual.

BSI was honored to handle restoration of the historic 100 year old St. Luke’s and Odd Fellows Hall on Gilbert Street. It is the last surviving building of the New Town community, and as such, it is one of the most important buildings in Blacksburg, VA.

The Governor’s Suite at Hotel Roanoke had begun to show its age. Due to the high demand for this premiere suite, Building Specialists was limited to a four week window of time to transform the space back to a modern luxury penthouse.

Clark Nexsen’s goal was not only to create more space to house their growing staff, but to create an environment which allows them to showcase their creativity and utilize the “green” design practices they promote to their clients.
