Building Specialists has been called upon over years for multiple restoration and renovation projects to this lovely home. It has been in the same family since 1968 and owned by only two other families in its history. BSI has completed projects that involve storm damage from a large Oak tree falling on the side of the home, building of a handicap walkway into the home and remodeling an existing bathroom to ADA accessibility.

In 2025, BSI completed a total home restoration and kitchen renovation for the next generation of family occupants. Every room in the house was meticulously reworked with electrical upgrades, refinished original flooring, renovation of a bathroom, bedrooms, laundry area, finishing basement space for a workshop and reworking the original 181-year-old triple sashed windows. BSI also repaired exterior rot, reworked all the chimneys, replaced flooring and trim on the back two-story porch and painted the exterior and interior of the home. The front porch was also rebuilt from the ground up. We are so proud of this stunning old home and the work we have accomplished there.
