Historic Church Damage Repair in Roanoke, VA.

Situation:

This 150-year-old historic church in Downtown Roanoke had an air conditioner compressor hose burst during a hard winter freeze. The air conditioner was located in the attic of the building and the situation was not discovered until the flooding had caused significate damage to several areas. BSI also assisted with renovations after another incident caused form roof drainage issues. In this instance damage was around windows in a classroom on the second floor.

Solution:

The BSI’s team began immediately with demolition, stabilization to allow the church to continue with services the following Sunday and with evaluating the extent of the damage. BSI worked closely with the Church’s insurance adjuster and prepared estimates of the needed work and outlined the costs.
